VSCDA Road Races Re-enactment Tour and Car Show
Celebrate Elkhart Lake's road racing history! Over 100 vintage and historic race and sports cars will depart from Road America on Saturday, September 20 to take one lap of an original 1950's Elkhart Lake street race and gather in downtown Elkhart Lake for a car show and festival. The tour will leave from Road America at approximately 2:00 pm, dependant on the race schedule. After the tour of the old street course, the cars will gather on Lake Street for a show until 5 pm. Then, spectators are invited to The Osthoff Resort grounds for "Gather on the Green" and an opportunity to see another group of cars. Exhibitors at The Osthoff participate by "Invitation Only". This annual event is presented by the Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association (VSCDA) as part of their Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival race weekend at Road America, September 19-21. 1860's Base Ball Game
Wade House Historic Site
Come cheer on the Greenbush Dead City's vintage baseball team as they defend the home turf against another historic team, playing by the rules of 1860. Visitors may also try their hands at some 19th century baseball skills. Game time: 1:30 pm. Included with general admission. Wade House is open daily from 10 am – 5 pm, mid-May through mid-October. Second Annual Civil War School Day
As part of the 17th Annual Civil War Weekend, this inaugural program is designed to provide memorable Civil War era hands-on encounters for the region's 5th graders. Students will be able to participate as "real" soldiers going through recruitment and enlistment, camp setup and drilling; and they will be introduced to the sanitation commission and soldiers' aid, camp discipline, music of the Civil War era, and more. Lake Street ARTfest

Featuring only fine art craftsmen accepted by a panel of judges reviewing their work for originality, quality, and composition. This year's 7th Annual ARTfest has become a Weekend Desination for anyone interested in the finer things in life: fine art, fine craft, fine jewelry, fine music, fine wine, and fine food!
The event is held on legendary Lake Street from Siebkens Resort, past Victorian Village Resort and along the public walkway between the lake front and The Osthoff Resort. Wine and beer tasting along with variety of food items will be available in our new center-show food court with live music to enjoy while you dine or just relax. This is truly a destination experience in fine art, music, shopping, dining, and the colorama provided by Mother Nature at this lake-country autumn art festival overlooking beautiful Elkhart Lake. 18th Annual Civil War Weekend
Wade House Historic Site
Two full days of Civil War drama unfold in the largest Civil War reenactment and encampment in Wisconsin. A full schedule of activities extends from 10 am – 5 pm with authentic battles reenacted each day at 2 pm. Watch the spectacle of hundreds of soldiers – cavalry, infantry and artillery – as they struggle across the vast field. Experience the conflict between the North and South as Union and Confederate troops set up camp, conduct drills, and offer demonstrations. Civilian and women's issues, medical reenactment, and music of the Civil War era are presented interactively each day and special hands-on experiences abound.
