1860's Base Ball Game
Wade House Historic Site
Come cheer on the Greenbush Dead City's vintage baseball team as they defend the home turf against the Eagle Diamonds of Old World Wisconsin, playing by the rules of 1860. Visitors may also try their hands at some 19th century baseball skills. Game time: 1:30 pm. Included with general admission. Wade House is open daily from 10 am – 5 pm, mid-May through mid-October. Participate with the villagers of Greenbush as we celebrate the trades that have shaped this 160-year-old community! Local craftsmen will display their diverse woodworking talents including wheelwrighting and sawing lumber with a horse-powered drag saw. Special activities include behind-the-scenes tours of the up-and down sawmill, blacksmithing demonstrations (with visitor participation), log-skidding and more. Wade House is open daily from 10 am – 5 pm, mid-May through mid-October.
